Finnish Military Shooting Team
European Shooting Championships 2005 (ISSF), Belgrad, Serbia-Montenegro

Finnish Military Shooting Team was a vital part of finnish national team in European shooting championships 2005.
Military shooters had good spirit and made a lot of outstanding results and rankings as well.

Pekka Vaarala and Kai Jahnsson gained the bronze medal in centre fire pistol team event with Janne Kuvaja (left). Pekka did 580 and Kai 573 Juha Peltonen was the 8th in small bore rifle prone with his result 694,9 (595+99,9).

Kari Pennanen did 597 in free rifle prone gaining silver team medal with Jussi Puustinen and Juha Hirvi.
In standard rifle team event Kari lead younger finnish shooters, Jussi and Henri, to bronze medal. Kari did 576 points for his individual result.
Jussi Puustinen did 597 in free rifle prone gaining silver team medal and 1168 in free rifle 3-pos (5.) taking team gold medal with Henri Häkkinen and Juha Hirvi. The team result in 3-pos was the same than the standing world record.
In standard rifle team event Jussi got bronze medal. Jussi did 582 points, the same as his personal best.

Henri Häkkinen did 1168 in free rifle 3-pos (6.) taking team gold medal with Jussi Puustinen and Juha Hirvi. The team result in 3-pos was the same than the standing world record. Henri did in small bore rifle 3-pos 1148 (42.).
In standard rifle team event Henri got bronze medal. He also did his personal best 581.
Helena Juppala was the fourth in sport rifle 3-pos (300m) with the result 577. The winner did this year 584.

Jarmo Hokkanen and Ari Lähdesmäki participated ECH-2005 as a coaches.
