Henri Häkkinen (Maj). Henri is a head of Finish Military Shooting Team. After his senior officer courses he came back  to the team. We all remember him as an elite rifle shooter some ten years ago.

Henri’s top performance was absolutely when he took the bronze medal in air rifle in Beijing (CHN) Olympics 2008. Furthermore he gained bronze medal in air rifle in the World Cup final event in Wuxi (CHN) in year 2009 and in the World cup in Milano (ITA) in year 2009. In CISM championships he has reached podium seven times with two individual gold medals (MRFR 2006, SR 2010). Also, in the regional CISM events he has achieved numerous podium places. Henri has participated three times as an athlete in the Military World Games. Furthermore, he has also four medals in European championships of which two are in the individual matches. He is also nominated as the best military athlete in Finland in year 2006 and 2008. Henri is a multiple Finnish champion in 10, 50 and 300 metre shooting.

Henri’s personal bests: standard rifle 588 (2007), military rapid fire rifle 576 (2009), big bore prone 600 (2008), big bore 3P 1174 (2006), small bore 3P 1164 (2019), small bore prone with integers 597 (2010) and air rifle with integers 600 (2008).

Toni Matilainen (Sgt). Toni has been the rifle coach from the beginning of the year 2021. He is well known from his earlier elite rifle shooting history and from the membership in the military team since 2004. Among meny other success stories Toni was a rifle team member when the Finnish rifle shooters gained team bronze in the 5th CISM Military World Games in Rio de Janeiro (BRA) 2011.

Toni’s personal bests: SR 582 (Weimar 2010), MRFR 568 (FMC-2010), FR 1156 (Lahti 2011), SBP 596 (FC-2012), SFR 1151 (Plzen 2009) and AR 591 (Oslo 2004).
